Julian Brindley

Upon graduating from Humber College's music program Julian performed aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. While playing trumpet in the show bands Julian got the opportunity to travel all around the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, Asia and the Caribbean.
After returning from ships Julian is an active member in the GTA music scene as a freelance trumpet player. He has been able to share his talents in musical productions with Clarkson Musical Productions, City Centre Musical Productions and Theatre Aquarius. In addition to musical productions Julian has been able to perform with a variety of acts, ranging from jazz, rock, funk/R&B, salsa, merengue, New Orleans, and reggae.
Julian is also the co-leader for The Yonge Kings. Following in the footsteps of The Rebirth Brass Band, Youngblood Brass Band, and Toronto's own The Heavyweights Brass Band the Yonge Kings add a fun and energetic vibe to modern pop classics, as well as paying homage to the tradition of New Orleans and Dixieland music.
