Nicholas Stirling

Nicholas brings performing, composing and studio recording experience through his Luxuria Music composing studio. In addition to performing numerous concerts with Persian-Canadian ensembles, INsou UNsou and AKASHA FIVE, he composes original music for documentary and series productions for CBC Newsworld, TVO, BBC UK, Discovery USA and others. In addition to hand drumming for many years, Nicholas has studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music (piano / clarinet),Toronto Tabla Ensemble (tabla) and African drumming (djembe) with Mohamed Diaby and Saiko Saho.
